At the Wiesenhüttenplatz, near Frankfurt's main station, a new light art object is to rise in 2020. Comprised of over 10 tons of aluminum and a logo with multilingual lettering, reflecting the multiculturalism and internationality of the city.
For Frankfurt consists composed of those who live here, regardless of cultural background or faith. Together, they compose this unique city. The statement is underlined by a projection on the installation itself, that not only presents (cultural) differences, but also envisages the similarities. A representation of the togetherness that makes Frankfurt so special.
The light art object is a collaboration between Wiesenhüttenplatz e.V., Tatcraft GmbH & Nordisk Büro.
