The beauty of nature is a major theme of romanticism: "Forest Trail in Autumn” is a light installation inspired by the beauty of the (German) landscape and its autumnal changes. The work consists of three transparent acrylic boxes filled with addressable LEDS, leaves and branches, which the artist herself gathered on country walks. Leaves and branches are connected by a fine thread to an Arduino-controlled motor. This enables the natural elements to move harmoniously with the change of light, creating a colorful play of shadows, reminiscent of an autumn day.
