For one evening, moments of poetry are created when people, light and movement interact at the Luminous Playground.
A dark urban space at night becomes a space for communication – also open for passers-by, to spontaneously join in, or just take a look. On the evening of 13.03.20, the five play stations around the skating hill will show themselves in a different light – in the interplay of darkness and selective lighting. The result is a presentation of light, sound and movement that encourages people to take part. The underlying question is how our communication can lead to communal action.
At 8 pm, young people from north Offenbach will perform a light-filled choreography of parkours, break- and sports movements, which they developed themselves in a multipart workshop with their dance teacher Therès Hauser.
On both a national and international level, Gabriele Juvan stages projects and installations on the emergence of communication in the public space; for example the Five Cities Project with several international stations. In 2006, she was awarded the “Kulturpreis der Stadt Offenbach”.
Therès Hauser has been teaching dance to children and adolescents since 1989. Her choreographies are based on the individual strengths of her students. As a dancer, she works for the Czurda Dance Theatre and in Rome.
