When darkness falls during the Luminale 2020, Frankfurt will shine with impressive illuminations in the most fascinating of colors and shades – and would be incomplete without one of Frankfurt's most original venues: The Binding Brewery. In celebration of its 150th anniversary, the traditional brewery is casting itself in a very special light. In its brewery at Sachsenhäuser Berg, the heart of Binding beer, the brewing kettles for the Luminale 2020 will shine in a warm white, while the colors blue and yellow will complete Benjamin Coppik’s illumination. Yellow to symbolize the color of beer, while blue is a major component of the Binding brand and represents loyalty in the language of color.
The traditional brewery would like to thank its hometown of Frankfurt and its people, as well as all Binding fans for this loyalty. Not only with an impressive work of light art for the Luminale 2020, but with a great beer festival on Saturday, 1st August - and a jam-packed stage program to celebrate its 150th birthday!
