The scenario: We have not managed to stop climate change in time and the earth has become uninhabitable. Yet, new technologies have made it possible for us to travel to a faraway planet and colonize it.
The crew of the spaceship OFS Bettina (Offenbach Shuttle Bettina) has chosen the planet Romantica for their new home. To date, the crew consists of four humans: Annette, Cornelia, Ilona and Matthias.
The journey to the planet Romantica will take 35 years. This is why we are still looking for fellow travelers to keep us company. Some applications have already been submitted: from humans and animals, as well as from androids.
The final selection of fellow travelers will begin on March 12th and end on March 15th with the departure of the SFO Bettina to the planet Romantica.
Everyone can join our mission and participate in the choice of fellow travelers. By means of beamer projections, we will introduce the applicants to our visitors. Among them will be human women and men, dogs and cats, as well as male and animal androids, who will differ in appearance and capabilities. The choice will range from simple, less human-like robots, up to artificial intelligences whose appearance and behavior is indistinguishable from that of humans.
