Künstler*innen des BBK Frankfurts
Six artists from the BBK, some of whom have already participated in the Luminale or have engaged with the medium of light, installation, film digitalization or art in the public space, will illuminate the 8 window panes of the BBK as well as the indoor areas.
Viktor Naimark, designer of the Jewish prayer room at Frankfurt Airport, is building a mystical light installation. Carmen McPherson is creating a moon-night landscape with reflective foils, complemented by real fog, illuminated by Michael Bloeck. Jan-Malte Strijek presents a light wall design in graffiti style and Yan Rechtmann, a video work with waves. Accompanying all projects, Bashir Molly’s firefly readies for flight.
