Philipp Sturm, Deutsches Architekturmuseum (DAM)
How and why did Frankfurt rise into the sky? The lecture addresses this and offers an overview of the city's high-rise history: from rebuilding the city after 1945, to the housing war in the Westend, up to the current era of global financial markets. Selected buildings are presented in their historical, economic and cultural context.
